You know, I really love how you imply that I'm now just picking staff members who agree with me all the time. Frankly, if I were Kody or Superkid, I would be
insulted by that. I have picked people to serve on my staff who I believe are
responsible and fair-minded, not to mention
extremely intelligent. I think it's ridiculously unfair and, again, insulting for you to imply that these people don't have brains of their own and aren't acting in what they believe to be the best interest of the site. I don't suppose it's ever occurred to you that maybe it's
you who is
WAY the fuck overreacting to all of this? Of course it hasn't. You couldn't
possibly be in the wrong here.
Let's have a bit of a reality check here.
The two newest staff members I have appointed are Kody and Superkid. Kody is desperately working to ensure the survival of this web site by being a mature and sensible adult and giving you a
hell of a lot of rope here, trying to mediate things rationally and sensibly and taking hours out of his day to try and be overly generous to you and help smooth things over. Even throughout all of this, he is
still trying, despite me making his life even more difficult than it already was (for which I sincerely apologize).
And then there's Superkid. Superkid's the one you're really coming down on with that post. The very same Superkid who just made a post in the Improving DSF thread talking about how one of the biggest problems with the site lately was
my behavior, and how I needed to clean up
my act if things were going to get better here.
So yeah, Chris,
clearly you have a good understanding of what the fuck you're talking about, because I
totally just go for people who are incompetent morons and just agree with every word that comes out of my mouth. They totally make the best and most fair staff members.
