To be fair, Robert Holmes (may he R.I.P.) was the original writer of "The Ultimate Foe" (both episodes), but ill health forced him to hand the writing of the final episode over to other hands. Who knows where episode 14 could have gone if Holmes had been able to complete it...

The Mouth And His Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat - and upstaging the Master to boot - was a hit. Bit of a dodgy sequel, though - apes acting like bats...??? Good old Season 24...
Absolutely right, though - dig that theme arrangement.

Can't wait for the remastered version on the DVD.
