No, that's bullshit. If they weren't talented they wouldn't be a renowned orchestra that doubles as a broadcasting and national orchestra, perform internationally and in 20 home-based concerts each year. It's not like the foreigners that the orchestra plays to think to themselves "oh great here comes that irritating damn orchestra again, I'd better pay hundreds of euros/whatever to see them perform music and grit my teeth and bear it."
The problem you have with the orchestra is to do with the music that was written for them by Murray Gold, so don't insult and orchestra that is doing as it's told, and, in my opinion, doing it fantastically well.
