Me and Jimmy Carr
A very wonderful night, and I got to meet Jimmy Carr! He gave me some very good and helpful advice for future life, "Shag ugly girls because they're more grateful for it, wear a condom, stay in school" and also wished me a happy birthday. Managed to sneak a very sly photo with him! He was absolutely hilarious and thinner than he is on TV. Here's the pic I managed to get. Anyone else a fan of his?

Honestly, I'm not familiar enough with him or his work. But well done for meeting him.

Jimmy Carr is one of those people that I go from finding absolutely hilarious to finding quite annoying and not funny and back again. In roughly half of everything I've seen him in he's been brilliant and in the other half he's just been crap, which is quite odd, really. Well done for meeting him though Ronnie, and managing to take the photo.

I think he's quite funny, well done for meeting him. I saw him host a Top Gear special today, and he was good in that.

Yeah he did get one of the fastest lap times ever. He actually told a Doctor Who joke last night as well. I'll recite it best I can.
"When I was young and watching the old series of Doctor Who I was never scared of the Daleks. I thought it was a bit lame that they couldn't get anywhere, they weren't really that mobile, you could probably get away from them on a bus or something. Now though, I'm TERRIFIED of them, because everywhere has disabled access nowadays! They can even get on a bus now! It takes ****ing ages but they can do it!"

Oh god, imagine that. If it didn't start killing people it may well be making racial slurs the whole trip.

You could imagine the complaints made against those racist mechanical dustbins at the back of the bus

I wouldn't call myself a fan but he's bloody brilliant. Just one of those comedians who does not have to try to be funny he just is. Love that Dalek joke!

I'm not a huge fan of him on stage. His delivery doesn't do it for me in that setting, but on TV he's a joy.
Good job.

He just kept talking in one long incredibly unbroken sentence moving from topic to topic so that no one had a chance to interrupt him it was really quite hypnotic.
