I don't know exactly how to say this, but a couple of our members have been the result of substantially increased activity lately, and I don't mean in a good way. Of course I love to have people enjoying themselves here on the site, but I've been seeing a lot of back and forth posts lately that are really meaningless or silly and belong in the Spam Forum but are not being posted there. So, not to make too big a deal out of it, but I would greatly appreciate it if those members in question (hopefully you know who you are, but I'm not going to name names) would please curb their enthusiasm a bit and devote some time and thought to their posts in the main section, while confining all their excess energy into the Spam Forum as appropriate. This is not to say that you should stop posting or even slow down by much -- it just means that a clearer line needs to be drawn between what is considered a rational and serious post and belongs in response to a rational and serious thread, and what would be much better suited to the Spam Forum.
I only mention this because I returned from being away again and found almost 40 threads with unread posts in them, and many of them had so many unread posts that I simply couldn't keep up with the thread and either had to respond only to the last one or two posts or not respond at all.
Hopefully the members in question will take note of this and make sure to be considerate of their posts in the future. Again, this is not to be considered being mean or trying to shut you all up, just a notice for the sake of politeness on the forum. Thank you!
