Final Cut

So I finally get Final Cut and its great but very slow!

I'm trying to get all my Doctor Who episodes over from iMovie but I then have to render them.

Then I have no idea how to get clips from episodes and put them into my music video so I use the razor blade on the episode and cut it up!

Does anyone have any easy ways of sorting this or do I just need to let them render?

I could go to my Apple Store for a 1 to 1 but thought I'd check out her first!

Honestly it would be a lot easier to have someone from Apple walk you through it. Writing out text based instructions over the internet is just going to be painful for both of us.

Suppose so, it was worth trying though.

Do you have Final Cut?

Sorry I can't be of more help.

I do, and I'm okay at it. The truth is I'm just not good enough at it myself to be able to really guide you through anything.

Would you be able to tell how to select a clip to out into a separate sequence.

Bit of a waste of thread so I'd say lock it. I've messaged emeek on youtube, if you know who he is, he should be able to help out

I probably would if I had some idea what you were talking about.

I don't just automatically lock waste threads, you know. We can simply let it die a peaceful death on its own.
