Hello there.

Hello dannystewart.con users

My name is Sam, and I have been a Doctor Who fan for coming up to 4 years. I hope I am welcomed onto this forum.

Welcome to the DS.com forums. Hope you enjoy it here.

Just an FYI for you that hopefully at the end of the month we are moving to a new website and forum called Eye of Harmony where we can continue with DS.com in some way, so I hope you are not put off by how quiet is and that you will join us when we move home

In the meantime, feel free to browse and post.

Welcome to the forums! As Chris said, we're going to be moving to a new site hopefully soon, so bear with us if things are quiet here. We're all focused on getting things ready for the new site, and we hope you'll be here when we move. Stick around!

Plus 'Sharps' is a shortened version of 'Sam Harper', which is his 'new name'.

Why are you joining with another account and not clarifying your past membership, Sam?

I am wondering that too, but am more surprised it took us a few days to figure out it was him

New name? Really?

Very good question. I don't appreciate deception.

Like I said, I recognized the email address when he signed up. If you're going to create a new identity for yourself, you might want to start by not reusing your old email address. But I knew it was him before I posted. I just said nothing to see how it played out, but then Ben blew my cover.

Yeah it's his professional name. The name he uses when doing professional stuff.

I also find it funny that he disappeared now. We've seen through his new identity so he won't even bother to say anything and is probably just going to disappear now. Works for me just as well, though, I can just delete his account if he's not going to use it anymore.

EDIT: I've just checked and he's disappeared regardless of whether we found his identity. He last viewed this thread before Ben gave away his identity, so it's unrelated.

Why the fuck do these kids insist on reregistering all the time? Do they honestly think we'll somehow mistake them for less stupid than they were the first time they registered?

One seriously wonders why he even bothered to came back. One also wonders at the pointlessness of it. i guess it's irrelevant anyway since we are moving.

What he said.

Hello people,

For starters I haven't "tried to decieve" you, I have decided to change my name to stuff I make or produce by the wishes of my family. With all due respect can people please not jump to conclusions, I would of appreciated people to give me a bit more courtesy as I could of been absoloutly anyone.

I don't think my decision to change my name is sad, if you do then that is your own opinion and I cannot change that.

I have said my peace, and it is unfortunate that I haven't been welcomed back in the best way. I was going to use my old account but couldn't access it.

Cheers, Sam.

Well that's a little different. Sounds like you have a strange family, though. No disrespect intended or anything. My folks would be proud to get their family name out there via my work, as I imagine most would.

I thought it was sad if it was a shame thing or an identity hiding thing, but if it's at your family's request that's not sad. It's just odd.

You were literally a day or two too late. I purged a bunch of old accounts less than a week ago in preparation for the move to EoH.
