Apparently not. My main interest in the game was to see what improvements they made to the engine that would (potentially) be used in Hitman 5.

Not true. Have you played Blood Money? It's essentially the same engine in Kane & Lynch but with the combat system improved somewhat (which is logical as Hitman is not designed as a combat-oriented game whereas K&L is). I'm hoping the improvements will carry over.

I thought Blood Money looked pretty good graphically, whereas K&L looks pretty crap.

Maybe it's just my imagination.

K&L was actually quite good. Not amazing, but worth buying anyway.
