When did we come online?

This is a question for those of us who have been here since the beginning. When did we first come online, in any way, shape, or form? I guess this would be the first Tetryon forum way back four or five years ago. Am I correct in thinking this was 2000? Or is that too early? I need an answer to this as specifically as possible please. Down to the month (or even day, if possible, though I doubt it).

From the topics i have seen, posted in, dates of joining. My estimate was either late 2001, or mid 2002. But your join date said dec 2002, so i am guessing that.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say its probably in 2001 somtime, because if I remember right we had forums before this website went online where we rped...not 100% on that.

Yes, I seem to remember that too. I remember we had Tetryon long before we had DannyStewart.com, and I'm trying to remember when we first had Tetryon. I swear it was 2000... Not really sure on that, though.

I stick by what i said, wither December 2002 by Dannys joining date. But he might have made it earlier but did not join as he was ironing out some things, so late 2001, but only highly unlikely.

It was definately after Nemesis came out, because I remember a description of the sim that said it begun in 2379, the same year as all that business with Shinzon or something along those lines.

but Star Trek Nemisis was set in 2380 if i remember, as Picard said "Sixteen years i have been waiting to say that." And TNG started in 2364.

Chris, first of all, it is not possible for the admin to start a forum and not join. Second of all, there may have been an earlier message board that got deleted and not converted to another one (and another and another and then finally to this one), so that data was lost, including the join date. That is why I am still asking.

I looked it up on the web archive (archive.org) and discovered the first time usstestryon.com was registered was August 8, 2002. So im going to go ahead and guess that is the date we started on. However I am pretty sure we had been running since atleast 2001, and as one of the few people to still be around from back when we did start I think my word has some credit..

You're probably right -- we were running on free web boards and things before we got our own domain. Anyway, December of 2002 is what I'll use as the final date. That's when we really got serious and got going.
