*sigh*
I resent that the people that made this decided to call it a virus. It's just a cute little application that performs a neat trick. It doesn't self-replicate and it doesn't spread on its own, therefore it's not a virus. But now people will go around saying "see, there are viruses for Macs" -- when in fact, there are not.
But aside from that, yes, I love this. I wish they would make it available for download.

I didn't mean it was a virus that would work on a Mac. Just using the term they gave it, but yeah.
I for one would love a look at the code, very, very awesome trick.

It may not be a full virus in that regard but it sure should be.
However... did they show how to fix it?

Aye, no worries.
As long as it saves the icon positions.. and I'm betting it does, I'd love if they sold little usb drives like the one used in the demo.
I'd get one for sure, awesome prank and also a very neat exercise in coding.

It's not really a virus -- just an application. Mac OS X will restore the icon positions as soon as the application is terminated.
