Christmas
ZOMSJ! (Zoh mah sweet Jesus!)
2 days until Christmas, and not a single festive thread I see here! Then I shall be the first to instigate the discussions of what everyone hopes to get this year.
There is a shedload of new DVDs, and my most bizzare request ever, a smoking jacket and moccisons slippers. If I get those 2 things, I will start smoking cigars and sit in my armchair all day.
What about the rest of you?

I completely forgot about Christmas.
And Ronnie, I don't believe you have any cigars to smoke.

No, but I will send Dodgy Rodge into the shop to buy some for me with my Christmas money.

If you're going to buy Cuban cigars, don't buy cheap ones.

He just kept talking in one long incredibly unbroken sentence moving from topic to topic so that no one had a chance to interrupt him it was really quite hypnotic.

That would be me. If there's only going to be one Christmas thread here on the site, it's going to be named something more universal.

No, Ross loves spoilers, so it doesn't surprise me that he saps the joy out of Christmas just likes he saps the joy out of his favorite TV shows.

I'm not sure what I could be getting tomorrow, there's not much I've anticipated like I did last year... my iMac was esentially the best thing I could've gotten and I already have it.
I sure hope a friend of mine on BZP is getting a new computer. He reccomended the iMac to me, and he was envious because he uses a Powermac G3 and is "in desperate need of a new computer", in his words.

There's supposed to be joy in Christmas? I just get annoyed because of the incessant advertising and the sickly scent of rampant consumerism everywhere.
Oh and it's about this time of year when the fundies all start raving on about the 'dilution of Christmas' which shits me even more for two reason; 1. It's so ****ing obvious that it's a corporate holiday now, not a religious one and 2. Christmas started as a ****ing pagan holiday so they can shut the **** up because they diluted it more than anyone else ever did.

I got a new PS2 because my old one broke, a new memory card because my brother lost the old one, god, think what else I could have had if he hadn't lost it.
I got "Jimmy Carr-Comedian" which is quite possibly the funniest DVD I have ever seen, Family Guy series 5, a PSP, 2 games for it, 2 new games for my PS2 and the QI book of general ignorance.
And the great thing is, I get even more on boxing day off my Dad What did you guys get?

While it's definitely a commercial holiday now, it's still a source of good times for a lot of people, which I appreciate more than anything about it.

I got a Wacom tablet and a whole bunch of books about comic design.
Now I'm finally gonna start working on not sucking at drawing.

I picked the guitar myself, and there was nothing else on my list except games and DVDs.
