Blast from the Past
Many of you will probably remember my YouTube video "Playing the Doctor Who theme" which I posted as a small fight back against the 20+ people on YouTube that thought playing a single note repeatedly with some vague wanderings in the right hand consituted "Playing the Doctor Who theme"
Well, I got out the remixing axe tonight and started adding bits and pieces to the original tracks (which I luckily kept) and now here it is - the super-duper extended version.
http://files.marinedalek.co.uk/music/playingremix.mp3
Extra bits:
Synthesised scream intro (Moog Modular V + effects)
Second Layer (CS-80v)
Emphasis (CS-80v)
Melody 2 + Bridge 2nd instrument (FM8)
Bridge 3rd instrument (FM8)
Synthesised Drone (Lots of instruments that I can't remember)

That has to be the poorest attempt at imitating a Vista dialog box that I have ever seen.
Great work on the remix, though, Pete. Especially that wind bubble at the end. It sounds a bit MArk-ish, but only because it's so high quality.

I don't believe the point of the image was to demonstrate the person's skill at imitating Vista.

And so, once again, another topic veers off course faster than a TARDIS fitted with a Gallifreyian Randomizer.
But just for the record:
WARNING!
Imitating Microsoft Windows Vista can be hazardous to your sanity.
Do not attempt to do so unless you are an expert. Like RTD.
If in doubt, stick with XP,
especially in cases where backwards compatibility is required.

A good mix of music there - reminds me of a cross between the original Derbyshire and Howell, and maybe a small but harmless sprinkle of "Delaware" added for that extra little bit of quirkyness. Keep up the good work.
