Phrase
I was told this a few days ago and i found it wierd. See how you guys think of it, I still don't know the answer.
What happens when an unstoppable force hit's an imoveable object?
Not as easy as you think.

Well, a few things could happen. Thought it isnt movable, it isnt indestructible, so hence it could simply explode right there. Or, the energy from this force could travel into whatever else the object is touching and it will move, shake, destroy it. If it was sitting in the air hovering, and it wasnt moved, and you couldn't destroy it, the force would probably just exert all its energy into the surrounding air.
Then again I am not a physics expert...so I wouldn't know

Was it supposed to be tackled like a physics question? Or was it just a riddle? Shawn may have taken it too seriously, or I may have read it wrong.

I think Shawn has traken it too seriously. As if it is inmoveable, how can it be destructable, as then it would have moved techically, i don't think it has an answer, but i posted it to hear your guesses. I don't know about the pyhsicis bit.

Well, if I am taking it too seriously then the answer is probably...nothing happens.

It's basically a positive and negative problem tbh. The unstopable force is positive, the unmovable object is negative. When they hit eachother they cancel eachother out, nothing happens.

No, imoveable doesnt mean indestructable, technically it would be destroyed before it moved.

What about the force simply being deflected? It is only unstoppable and if its direction change then it hasn't stopped, all that has happened is the direction of its vector has changed.

People on here are too smart. We need some wit rather than intelligence.

True. But switch off the intelligence center of your brain and switch on the wit.
