I would post mine, but it's rather utterly uninteresting at the moment because I lost my desktop when my computer went on safe mode.

Sorry to keep you all waiting. This is my desktop on my home PC while running Linux.
Yes, I like to keep my desktop clean. Usually I keep a "My Desktop" folder on the desktop and move all my junk into there, just so it looks clean -- but it's really not!
Other desktops coming soon... (I know you all will be waiting impatiently. )

Looking good, Rogue! Thanks for the update. Here's a shot of my desktop (as in non-laptop) screen.
It's an interesting size because it was originally 1280x1024 but I had to resize it due to the fact that ImageShack wouldn't allow the file because it was too large (1.3 MB).

That's a good BSG image you're using.

That's a very nice image, Ross, but it's your wallpaper not your desktop. The point of this thread is to show your complete desktop, icons, Start menu and all.

That has to be one of the most paranoid remarks I've ever seen. Who cares what programs you use? What, do you have shortcuts on your desktop to pornographic sites and an EXE file used to hack into the government of Italy or something? We're your friends, Ross, no one cares about what programs you have installed on your computer. And if it's a really big deal, remove the shortcut temporarily, take the screenshot, and put it back.

Or copy from the wallpaper and paste it over any parts you don't want to reveal.

There's a possibility, although that's a bit much work, trying to match the exact region like that.
