Tennant is better than Eccleston by miles.

Tennant is no good. I don't like him at all.

I love David Tennant and do actually prefer him to Christopher Eccleston.

William Hartnell and Patrick Troughton are the best. I also like Sylvester McCoy and Colin Baker.

I love the darkness Chris Eccleston brought to the role, David Tennant is far too aloof and know-it-all in my opinion. Chris felt like he had the weight of his entire race's destruction on his shoulders, he felt a lot like a more solemn Tom Baker ("What's your name by the way?" "Rose..." "Hello Rose- Run for you life!"). David sort of just drifts around as if he's not completely with it... until, of course, he discovers 31st century clockwork.

This could, of course, be attributed the the writers. Series 2's writing wasn't as good as Series 1's. I've said it a million times, but... Ionic energy... Ugh. It's as if some of them completely ignored this little thing called science. You know, the part which comes before -fi in SciFi? And I was really disappointed that there wasn't more reference to the Time War in the finale, where we could see the Doctor's hatred towards the Daleks- Instead, we got a sort of know-it-all indifference.

He is too sure of himself, no vunerability. I think his style of saving the world will quickly become as ludicrous as the later Tom baker episodes.

Whatever the case, we've got him now, and at least it's not like he's bad. No, Colin Baker was bad.

Here's hoping Doctor 10 returns to reality in Series 3.

RV, you certainly make valid points. I am hoping he gets a little darker in series 3, and I think he has reason to with the loss of Rose.

What I want to know is what's that bride about in the last episode what does everyone else think will happen. I have no idea what's going to happen but i'm interested in the outcome.

I know I can hardly contain my excitement since the last Christmas special was such a hit.

I think it has something to do with the Doctor burning up a sun at the end of Doomsday. I do know there'll be the return of the Pilot Fish (Robot Santas). Maybe the Sycorax will be back!

I'm kind of hoping not. I heard the Robot Santas will be back but I think the Sycorax work best as a one-off alien.

I'm with Danny on that, it would be best to just leave them alone from now. But Pilot Fish should be fun...maybe burning up a sun somehow cause Donna (Bride) to unwillingly enter the Tardis.

Only 34 Days to go. Maybe we should have an advent calender for it.
