First project

Hi! Me again. So what was the first project you ever did?

Thanks!

Hhmmm... project? You mean "paid job" as a composer? I guess that was writing music to a training film for Rentokil about exterminating pigeons. Good training for Doctor Who huh?

LOL. That post was hilarious for some reason.

EDIT: I don't suppose a copy of this video exists anywhere anymore, does it? I would totally love to see it, because it sounds hilariously awesome. Exterminating pigeons sounds good enough on its own, but with your music on it? Surely that makes it a true collector's item!

Do you still have copies of the music at least? I must say, I'm rather curious as to what kind of music a training video would require... especially one with such an interesting choice of subject matter!

EDIT #2: I'm in a silly mood tonight, so I have to ask -- is pigeon extermination a lost art these days? It's not often you hear someone say "I had to call in a pigeon exterminator the other day." Maybe I should start an armadillo extermination company or something. It could be one of those things you don't know you need until you have it. After all, invention is the mother of necessity.

Well I must confess my knowlesge of pigeon extermination is really rather sketchy (and definitely about 24 years out of date).
And no, I'm afraid that music is well and truly lost in time.....

Aww...
... just to clarify was this the extermination OF Pidgeons or Pidgeons exterminating?(I've heard of ravens attacking people in movies but that would be crazy)
Either way it sounds amusing.

Sorry about the lack of questions that don't have to do with pidgeons. There was a site downtime and many of us are having trouble coming up with anything.

No worries. The rest of us are just as in the dark as you are as far as pigeon extermination these days.

This page might help for those curious though.
