I'd have to say 'Doomsday' rivalled 'Genesis of the Daleks' as one of the best episodes of Doctor Who, ever. It blew me away, especially as I had prepared myself for barely any Cyber/Dalek fighting. The amount we got was enough for me

Yeah, I must say it worked pretty well for me too. Certainly a classic, but whether it rivals "Genesis" deserves some further consideration.

Well the cybermen were made out to be daft and hopeless in this episode, which is one reason people slam most cybermen stories. I would have liked to have seen the cybermen kick some arse....

As opposed to cybermen killed with coins, gold dust, arrows and by being thrown to the ground by a large man?

People slam stories like the silver nemisis or attack of the cybermen for making out the cybermen to be hopeless, and yet this one gets praised to high heaven.....

The cybermen get treated poorly, yes. But there's a difference. Attack and Nemesis really aren't very good. Doomsday is I don't praise a story for the monsters, I praise it for the acting and the plot, and Doomsday gets 10/10 for that.

Also, those are solely Cyberman stories. This had Daleks and Cybermen. That's another important factor to consider.

The important factor is, the cybermen did not kill ONE Dalek, they are made out to be useless, they are not very menacing if they are having a bitch fight with a dalek are they??

First of all, those were not the "real" Cybermen. They were Lumic-created Cybermen from a parallel universe. Second of all, the Daleks are probably the most powerful enemy anyone in the universe has ever had to face. They beat the Time Lords in the Time War for crying out loud. Give them some credit here.

Yeah. The Parallel Cybers, while pretty cool-looking, are basically tech that's within our reach. They're steel suits with what sound like hydraulic motion systems, and they have piddly little lasers that can barely take out a car. REAL Cybermen would just blow up the whole damn planet

Good point, Alex. Glad you agree with my reasoning.
Also Ronn... the Doctor is something special. He's not like the rest of his race.

Bearing in mind the daleks are alien, so they would be more advanced then Cybermen, they could have taken them out with one dalek, that at least was true
