I don't like the current incidental music, any of it, and I didn't like any of the incidental music used during the Pertwee/Baker era, or the Mc'Coy era.

Wow, Ronn. Why not?
EDIT: You don't have to explain why you didn't like the McCoy era though. We all know who's to blame for that.

Just wasn't my kind of music. Dudley simpsons music was awful, im sorry, sounded like it was off a 1980s video game.

Um... 1980's video game music? Do you think it's possible you've made a series of logical mistakes, such as this for example?
Mistake 1: Dudley Simpson did all the music for Doctor Who from season 7 to season 17.
Mistake 2: Dudley Simpson thus did the music for The Sea Devils.
Mistake 3: All the music from season 7 to season 17 sounds like music from The Sea Devils.
Mistake 4: The music for The Sea Devils sounds like video game music, as opposed to early avant-garde organic synth.
I really don't see how Dudley Simpson's music sounds like 80's game music... even The Sea Devils is a bit of a stretch. Also, you do realize, that Dudley Simpson stopped doing Doctor Who music right before the 1980's even happened, right?

80's game music is awesome!
*sings (do-do's) Tetris theme*
I'd love to see....hear Hans Zimmer do the music for Doctor Who and Torchwood. Even if for just one episode. Hans Zimmer alone can make a bad film good and a good film uber! Vote "Hans Zimmer" for God.

I think it should be a rule that every great composer should be required to do a version of the Doctor Who theme at some point in their career. Think about it.

Zimmer is above the Doctor Who theme.
I mean, he was in The Buggles for goodness sake!

Jeremy Soule (Morrowind, Oblivion, KotOR) and Kevin Reipl (most Epic games; Unreal Tournament, Gears of War) ftw.

Adding to the list: The Elder Scrolls 2: Daggerfall, Total Annihilation & Neverwinter Nights 2 (probably 1 too, need to find out).
But Hans Zimmer is the god of all things orchestrally enhancing. He's an awesome synth programmer too.
Klaus Badelt is similar in style but not as well known.
But Hans Zimmer is the god of all things.
David Lowe does awesome contemporary and modern stuff (BBC News themes FTW!).

I'm one of Hans Zimmer's many prophets. We go around speaking about the grace of Zimmer and converting non-believers.....or castrating them (both done to suitable background music scored by Zimmer himself ). It's their choice.

Klaus Badelt's music is awesome. I love his music for Pirates of the Caribbean
Jeremy Soule's music for Total Annihilation was awesometacular. Hanz Zimmer I can't say I like much, having listened to some of his work in the past (generally off of his site). Did he compose for any games I might know?

I think that whoever composed the Theme tune to Room 101 is above everyone. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=90-_ZoiJd4k A clip of the opening music

My friend and I love it too. It really added to the game.

Me too. His style is very much a favourite of mine. As it happens, Hans Zimmer did a lot of the production work and synth programming for that OST.

I don't think he's ever done any video games. I'd certainly love to hear his work on any game though. As for whatever you heard by him, he did the Pirates of the Caribbean 2 score and I'm in love with his The Last Samurai soundtrack.
As for anything else, it's best to look at his discography on his site and see if there's anything you've seen in there.
Geoff Zanelli's Into The West score is another awesome piece of work. There's been quite an uproar over it due to the fact that they're not going to release it. Instead, they release an album of music "inspired by" the series, which isn't the same thing, believe it or not.

I've always thought the Tetris music sounds similar to Westminster Bridge.
