They are made from an element called Dalekanium. Which is a fictional metal which is very, very touch.

Actually, they've listed two metals: Dalekanium and Dalekenium. Dalekenium is a metal they mined in the episode "The Dalek Invasion of Earth."

The Daleks had a plan to remove the core of Earth once and replace it with a giant engine so they could turn the planet into a moveable base.

Yeah Danny BDZing the planet would work. An endless volley of Turbolasers from several Imperial ships which literally turns the surface into molten lava and makes the planet uninhabitable for atleast 4 decades.

Even if Daleks on the surface survived theyd sink into the planet and keep submerging until the surface solidify again and they'll be eternally trapped underneath the surface and will eventually be crushed.
