Well, I think there is plenty to speculate. I mean, we all knew that the Master was coming back at the end of the last series, we were still always thinking about how it tied in with earlier references. I guess I am the only one who is intrigued as to how things as early as series one link to this finale.

By the way guys, in the UK, the bees are actually "disappearing" (i.e. reducing in numbers). Could just be a RL reference (heaven forbid a minor detail not have any relevance to future/past episodes)

To be honest, I don't think there were references to this seasons ending as far back as season 1, I think RTD is running out of ideas, so is hastily coing up with a REALLY far-fetched storry like that/

 Even HAL wants RTD out.  Ross is right - the UK is a silly place at the moment. We desperately need a change of government (but that'll be for another thread )I hate wasps. I don't care for bees much either but I don't mind getting attacked by a single bee because I know it'll only do it's worst once.
