Torchwood 2x09 - "Something Borrowed"

"Something Borrowed" by Phil Ford
Gwen is late for her hen night, as she was called in by Torchwood to chase down a shape-shifting alien. She follows it, eventually engaging him in a fight wherein he bites her arm before he is killed by Jack. The next morning they discover that the alien had transferred fertilised eggs into Gwen, which have matured inside her body to the point where she now appears pregnant.

RV from a few weeks ago sez:

Was pretty so-so. Seemed more like Doctor Who than Torchwood.

Having just rewatched it not half an hour ago, I enjoyed this one purely because it was pretty damn entertaining. Lots of scenes were quite funny, and it was just all-round enjoyable with nothing majorly wrong with it.

Meh. This was about as interesting as weddings can get.

I hope, if I ever get married*, that Torchwood crash my wedding. I would, however, hope that my wife-to-be doesn't run off with Jack. That is, of course, assuming I don't run off with Jack myself.

*HAHA YEAH RIGHT.

I was going to quote elements of your post separately, but then I realized that my response to each thing would have been the same:
