Email system finally fixed!

As you may know, email from my server has never worked properly, so any email-related feature of the forums has never been able to be used. I'm very pleased to say that I've finally discovered the problem, fixed it, and tested it, and all seems to be working now, so finally you can start using the email-based functions of the site (email member, email threads to friend, notifications of new posts, etc.) as they were intended for ages. Hooray!

I'm getting those things 10 times a day. 8 of them are from my girlfriend. It's the 2 from my mum that really hurt.

Well I was wondering what that was all about! All right, glad to hear it's fixed.

God damnit, now I actually have to block 74% of the email addresses of the members here.

He just kept talking in one long incredibly unbroken sentence moving from topic to topic so that no one had a chance to interrupt him it was really quite hypnotic.

No one will actually be able to see your email address -- they'll just have to bombard you with unsolicited emails from on the site itself.

Still not working for me. I didn't get an email when the thread I subscribed to was posted in... Yes, I did select "instant email notification".

It could just be my email address though.

It's definitely working, so it's a problem specific to your account. Check your User CP and make sure your email address is set correctly.
