Please visit my new music page. You can download my music from there and even pay for it if you feel that it's worth it. How much you pay is entirely up to you. You can download 128 kbps mp3s for free, or pay what you want for high quality files in whatever format you like.

Also, the music for two short films that I have scored, Restoration of the Daleks and Wall of Shadows will be posted there very soon.

I came. I listened. My mind was BLOWN. That is some good shit, reminds me of Mass Effect. And I like Mass Effect.

What actually was the film about?

EDIT: God damn Danny, why haven't I ever seen you make this kind of ambient mindblowing shit before? This is like Vangelis grade shit. Holy mother of fuck.

You are so much better at music when you arent copying someone else.

I listened to it a while ago. I like it. It reminds me of the soundtrack to 'Hitman:Contracts' composed by Jespyr Kyd.

I like 'Hitman:Contracts'

You only just started on Hitman? Dude...

I prefer Contracts to Blood Money. There are a couple of tunes in Blood Money which are extended and redone versions of tiny sections of the tracks in Contracts... if you listen closely.

Kyd really knows his shit though. He can do the grand 'world traveller' music for 'Silent Assassin' and 'Blood Money' but in a fucked up shit night time imagined dream like the one we see in 'Contracts' his dark electronica really fits.

Hitman Contracts was actually the style I was going for, although Mass Effect is not an unfair comparison. I loved both scores, but especially Contracts.

Jesper Kyd is fucking amazing. There is nothing else to be said.

Also, I noticed the reversed Blood Money tracks in Contracts. Fucking crazy shit.

First clip you hear is the final track from Blood Money.

Second clip you hear is the original track from Contracts.

Third clip you hear is the Contracts clip reversed.

Also, the heavy brass is from another Blood Money track ("Amb Zone"). If anyone has the soundtracks like I do, you can check these yourselves. The Contracts track is "Sanitarium" and the Blood Money track is "47 Attacks."

Watched the movie. Music seemed out of place, not because of the movie's content, but more because the DOP tried to light a scifi film like a home movie of some kids birthday.

Yeah, I get the impression it was a little bit rushed through production, and the lighting could have been improved. Still, I liked it overall, and most importantly, I'm glad you approve of the score.

This has to be some of the best music I've ever heard. I've been curious about the other music you've made and I'm really glad I got to hear. My imagination got pumping while I listened. Sanitarium in particular is very chilling, and I found myself engrossed in Lonely Horizon.

Pretty much in agreement with RV. This is definitely better than the fan-stuff. Keep it up!

Thanks a lot, man. I'm frankly amazed at the praise that has come in over the past few days in response to my score. It's extremely encouraging and things will definitely be picking up in the near future.

I actually find it difficult to listen to Lonely Horizon these days. It was written about a specific person during a specific time, and it evokes strong memories of that time. Funny how even your own music can affect you like that, and in different ways than just songs that you've heard. You remember what it felt like when you were composing it.

I still think it's one of my better pieces, though... Dom himself said to me that there's "nothing like a bit of emotional turmoil to sharpen our art." Right he was.

EDIT: Oh, and getting back on topic, just wait until my score for Restoration of the Daleks gets released. I'm very proud of it and I hope you all will be as impressed with that one as you were with Wall of Shadows (it's more dark orchestral than dark electronic but I still think it came out well).

Well after hearing that, I'm really looking forward to it. I'll be keeping my eye out!

Once more, keep up the great work.

Time to start hyping the release of Restoration of the Daleks and its accompanying soundtrack. Hooray for hype!

Here's a teaser trailer for the film (from before I was involved, so it's not my music):
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mWmTInHtugw

And here's the track listing for my soundtrack:
  1. Opening Titles
  2. Davros Plots
  3. Dalek Genesis
  4. The Daleks Reborn
  5. Proving Ground
  6. Conquer and Destroy
  7. Closing Titles
  8. Doctor Who Theme (Bonus Track)
This film is going to be good. And I'm not just saying that because I scored it. I genuinely hope I get to work with these guys again, because I had a great time doing it and we definitely made something extremely professional that we're all very proud of.

Coming soon...

Ah yes, that's one of the tunes I was referring to, with small elements from Contracts being expanded to a full song in Blood Money. Never knew it was reversed though! 47 Attacks is my fave 'Action' track from BM, I thought that the rest were a bit weak. Do you not have the soundtrack to 'Silent Assassin', Danny? Fucking awesome shit dude.

These tracks are my faves, have a listen if you've not heard them.

Thanks Jamie! Look earlier in the thread for a link to Wall of Shadows (the film). Restoration of the Daleks is not out yet.
