Doctor Who/Torchwood Audio Tracks
I've been uploading some audio tracks from Doctor Who on Demonoid. I've really wanted to get them up here but unfortunately the file sizes are too big.
Basically, these audio tracks are the vocals and the music separated from each episode. It's like what Tom's been doing but the whole track to the episode.
If you're really desperate for these, you can download the torrents from Demonoid.com.
I'm going to do this for Torchwood quite soon, too!

Re Torchwood: Impossible as the DVD's only have Stereo Sound Mix.
Good work so far though, however it may be helpful to split the audio track into the episode chapters within the torrent file for easier downloading rather than lumping it all together .

No No No Doctor who is the OG (original gangster) of theme tunes. Sci-Fi nerds like myself recognize it even by smell.

He doesn't mean theme music, he means incidental music. And I have to agree on that call.
Unless he does mean theme music. In which case he and I can no longer associate with one another.

yes, but Doctor Who has had the biggest milestone in incidental, I mean, some of those pieces are marvelous, I love the Madame De Pomapour theme, very sad. But Torchwood is more up beat.

I don't know what you mean by "milestone." You're right, some Doctor Who music has been great, like the Madame de Pompadour theme you mentioned. Torchwood is not more upbeat though. Murray Gold himself said that the music for Torchwood is darker, and I agree -- that's what makes me like it more. It's also more electronically-oriented, which is a huge plus for me.

by milestone I mean it's received more attention. Yes, Torchwood is darker, but what I mean by up beat is that it's got a more poppy beat to it.

Some of it does, but you can't generalize all the music to say that.

true, just the music that stands out to me sounds like that, maybe I'm just paying more attention to that.

The DW and TW themes are both very different pieces of music and are both excellent, but DW wins because of nostalgia

Of course not. But if any of my friends were to slight or malign the Doctor Who theme in any way, things could get ugly.

No, not impossible. I have the HD episodes of Torchwood with their AC3 5.1 tracks, so ha!
I might split them up if I have some time.
