Lol, Danny and Dalek, after 8 years of living on internet forums, I can confirm that it is very important to celebrate the following postcounts when you reach them:
500 (only if your activity is sporadic, or you're the first to reach it) 666 1000 2000 2001 (:A Post Odyssey - especially important on Sci-Fi and Gaming sites) 5000 + every 5000 from then on.
