Before your time, Danny had a plugin that automatically posted stories from the BBC News site as they appeared. They were all posted in his name. (*cough* SPAMMER *cough*)

Did those go towards Danny's post count? And lets not forget that Danny has been around since 2002, as were older members who are no longer here, when Tetryon was active, which goes against Sam's theory that Danny was "talking to himself" for years.

Ronn's explanation is correct -- I've been here for longer than anyone, and it's my site after all. High post count is only to be expected.
