Battlestar Galactica forum added
Alright, I've already watched just the first twenty minutes of the pilot miniseries and I'm already hooked. I've just added a new Battlestar Galactica forum to the Sci-Fi TV section. Get posting!

Excellent! I love BSG, shame the second series is being shown in the US first rather than the UK which got the first series before the US.

It´s your show *laughs out loud*. It was made by some company in conjunction with Sky, which is clearly a British company.

Documents please? I need proof. I'm pretty sure it's an American show owned by an American broadcaster. Doctor Who was made by the BBC supposedly "in conjunction with" the CBC in Canada, but just because Canada coughed up some extra dough for it hardly makes Doctor Who a Canadian show.

The new BSG series is filmed by the Sci-fi channel in conjuction with NBC(who owns the rights the original series). I'll try and look up the exacts, +++google
Alrighty, I pulled it up on Wikipedia and it states that NBC Universal, Sci-Fi, and Sky One all jointly fund the show, and Sci-Fi is the primary producer. The funding by Sky One is the reason it was first aired in UK and it appears from now on the seasons will air in the US and Canada before the UK.

There we go. That makes it primarily American. Phooey on you, Ross.
Thank you very much for the stats, Shawn.

Nope, you saw Starbuck from Battlestar Galactica first for a moment before I changed it to Commander Adama. I wish I was half as cool as either of them.

it was not a prank. I warmed my feet by the fire while you guys settled your debate. I wanted to avoid getting involved.

OLD BSG? Who do you think told the captain to get the Mini-series? And I go out of Tetryon a lot. It's just that my bookmark is there.
And captain? Approve please? Or do I need to get Cylon on you?
