I went to bed at 10:00 am this morning, that is the latest I've stayed up all summer, all in the name of Battlestar Galactica. I will watch "Colonial Day" a bit later today, assuming I have the time. If I do have the time, expect the show to be finished then.

Personally I have never missed an episode since I watched the mini-series, when the series premiered, I was one of those 3.1 million people that tuned in when "33" and "Water" first aired earlier this year. I had watched a lot of the original series, I wasn't a die hard fan but I knew enough, when they aired the mini-series it just hit home in me and I decided this show was way too good to pass up. Unfortunately scowering other forums I see a lot of badmouthing of the show from old BSG fans, even some going as far as to calling the new show "Bullshit Galactica" ...

That's entirely uncalled for. This series is fantastic. If they don't like it they don't know what they're missing, or they just don't have good enough taste.

Ive now seen the first about 3 minutes of Season 2, before it became unwatchable as the sound is about 15 seconds ahead of the picture.

I liked the old BSG too... until they left the Cylons behind. Then it got lame to the point of nauseability.
And at least the characters use more natural dialog in this one... it's "damn", not "feldercarb."
