A Battlestar Galactica RPG?

Okay, now so far I have only seen the first part of the pilot miniseries from 2003, but already I am hooked on Battlestar Galactica and can't wait to delve into the rest of the series. (This will happen soon.) But I am curious to see how many members of the DannyStewart.com community would be interested in creating a Battlestar Galactica RPG to run here on the site. Please vote "yes" or "no" in the poll above but make sure you post too so your opinion can be heard!

Thanks for helping me out!

I have seen some of the series and i think that a RPG on it would be really cool. Nice idea Danny.

We'll see if we can get it off the ground with any success. I think this has the potential to work equally as well as Tetryon if we do it right.

Catch reruns when you can. It's great.

Really? You're the first person I've heard say that, with the very occasional exception of some nutty diehard fans of the old series.

I'm all for it, I love the new series and am actually finding myself anticipating it more than Stargate when it airs. However if we do decide to do a Galactica RPG I would probably want to do it on another Battlestar, simply because it gives us more freedom to create our own path in the same universe just like the Tetryon. My 2 cents

I totally agree, that was my plan if it got the go-ahead.

Im in immediately, I love BSG. Ive seen all of season 1, and have it on DVD, so I know a lot about it.

Plus, ive also been in a BSG RPG before, though I had to leave because of time restraints.

I guess it would be alright. I never really got the chance to get into the series as much as I have Startrek or Stargate. Although I liked the orginal

Of course you say that after you vote no.

Anyway, I've gotten overwhelming support so far! I was expecting maybe 50/50 support tops, but a 4 to 1 vote (especially with one vote reconsidering) is very good. I'd say it's a near certainty at this point.

So let's get planning! Off to another thread...
