Danny, when you post attatchments, it says that the maximum for an mp3 is(about) 10mb, however, i was trying to post a song in a thread, which was 2.6 mb, and it wouldnt let me, why is this?

You're not the only one, it's the same with me. I can upload my own songs from my Multi Track Recorder (Doctor Who themes) but that's about it .

I'm not sure. What error did it give you?

In order to help you guys out, I need to know exactly what happens when you try.
Also, threads like this belong in the Site Support and Feedback forum. This forum is for generic non-DS.com related tech support.

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 16777216 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 3002489 bytes) in /var/www/ds/forums/includes/class_core.php on line 679
Thats is the error it gave me, but the sound file is only 2.6 mb.

I got the same thing, but sometimes it just says that it's failed and doesn't give a reason why.

Looks like the PHP memory limit needs to be increased again. I already doubled the standard default! Yikes!
EDIT: Doubled again to 32 MB. Give her another try.

Danny, when I go to manage attatchments there is a bar of all the attatchments I own. I deleted them all, and have so far only posted 3 RESIZED photos, and it is nearly half full. This did not happen in the past when I was posting attatchments, and it had taken around 25 attatchments to fill it up. What is going on???

The limit is probably set lower to avoid stress on the server. I'm not really sure. I'll try and check what the limit is.
I've just reset the limit to 10 MB per user. That's more than reasonable. If you have a large quantity of files to upload (or simply large files) please upload them on your own web space somewhere or somewhere like ImageShack.
