Very probably.
I've got it on my PC at home somewhere. When I get back to my home tomorrow I'll post it up here. Then I have to go off again, and stay another night at another friend. Luckily this one has a newer version of windows. Unluckily, this version happens to be Windows ME. I only have 1 friend who has an iMac, and he lives in South Africa

How do you make themes like this?
I managed to download ModPlug Tracker on this feeble 56k modem, and then I just loaded in a saw wave sample, a square wave one and a cymbal one, which I reversed. I was going to use higher quality samples, but whenever I did, I got the Blue Screen of Death.

See? I like getting the blue screen of death, mainly because on WinXP, you only get the BSoD when something goes really wrong. On all the other versions of windows, its a very trivial and light-hearted affair.

I'd reccomend trying to find a Mac MOD or IT tracker. Theres got to be one somewhere. Either that or use some really unfiltered and basic sound generator. Macs don't get the BSoD. Instead, they work.

EDIT: Ok, I'm home now, and I've tidied up the MOD, added a few new sections, etc.

Here it is: http://www.zendurl.com/r/ratt////blocks/Doctor%20Who.it

I found a cool Mac MOD tracker called Renoise. It's way more complicated than I probably need but it looks like fun, so I might as well play with it a bit.

Well, I've almost finished the MOD, its taken me 5 days using 4 different PC's (been on the move, you see) and its now got about 84 different orders, and its 15 minutes long. Now, only the first 3 minutes of it are Doctor Who. Hopefully you might recognise some sections from it.

When I finish it I will post it up here. And, because it's a Mod, it's only 250kib!

I had a kib once....but they became so outdated. Rib cages are the current craze, although I hear they're developing awesome yib prisms, but the cost of getting one on it's initial release will be very high.

Oooh, get me,
1001: A Post Odyssey.

Yes, that was supposed to rhyme. Yes, it does rhyme. No, I don't actually care for post counts.

He just kept talking in one long incredibly unbroken sentence moving from topic to topic so that no one had a chance to interrupt him it was really quite hypnotic.

kib, as in Kibibytes. 1 Kibibyte (kib) = 1024 bytes, therefore 1 Kilobyte (kb) = 1000 bytes.

And also nyce rhyme!

Damn overuse of the y's!

I've finally finished my MOD-Marathon. It's 17 minutes long, and starts with Doctor Who, and is mostly comprised of a few little tunes that I like, and some stuff that I have composed.

If you can be bothered, take a listen (unless my website's down, which it always seems to be):

http://www.zendurl.com/r/ratt////blocks/Marathonmod.zip

It may sound the same to start off with, but theres a whole huge part afterwards.

Here's a reference guide to all of the parts:

2. Series 3 'Climactic!' theme by Murray Gold
-(A A A AB|C C C CB|A A A AB|C C D CB|A A A)
3. Alternative Doctor Who middle 8 section
4. Original Composition
5. Yet Another Doctor Who Interlude Section
6. Original Composition

29. Original section loosely based on Another Brick in the Wall part 2 /Waters
30. The Legend of Zelda, Main Theme, by Koji Kondo (C) 1987 Nintendo

Danny: If you need any help with the tracker, just ask me. I've been using them for years! But don't ask me about portamento. It depends wildly on which tracker and which format you're using.

I'll listen to your new monstrous creation in a few minutes, but yes, I'd love some help with trackers! I've decided to ditch Renoise in favor of MilkyTracker because it's free (and I love free stuff) and cross-compatible. Any advice or assistance you can offer would be great!

EDIT: I've listened to your monstrous new creation and it's both monstrous and ridiculously awesome. I love it.

Also, I've switched from MilkyTracker to Schism Tracker because it's less reliant on the mouse (keyboard navigation ftw) and also because I'm actually starting to figure out how to do stuff in that, which wasn't really happening in MilkyTracker.

My next big huge major question: where do you get samples for this baby? I'm kind of stuck without those.

Sorry about my lack of getting back to you quickly, edits dont show up on the 24 hour thing. Glad you enjoyed my monstermod. Where do I get samples? Well... generally from other MODs!
