Why the f*ck would you want to play Runescape at all, let alone go back to playing Runescape?
Are you f*cking retarded?
No wonder you bought a Mac.

Go sit in the corner.
Seriously, I'm so tired of Mac bashing that from now on any Mac bashing will result in a 24-hour ban.

You may as well ban me forever then, since I'm not going to stop bashing Apple products, just like I'm not going to stop bashing Vista, the PS3, Halliburton, America, George W. Bush, RTD and Adolf Hitler.
Because I make fun of things and people I don't like.
EDIT: Just let me post my picture of Science Murray before you ban me, please.

Great. All of those things deserve to be made fun of, except for Apple.

I'm not going to ban you (for now), but stop bashing Apple. Seriously.

Maybe if Mr. Jobs gave me a few reasons (read: free stuff) then sure.

Danny, relax. You don't have to read it when he bashes Apple. It's not like it harms them in any way, it's just annoying. He directly called me retarded just now and I didn't care, for all I know it's true.
I'm a mac user and proud to be it now, but it doesn't irritate me when people bash apple. Why should it? In all honesty, is it really WORTH getting irritated at what people say on the internet? I came to that conclusion long ago. When you get pissed you feel like crap, unless you're a masochist or something. It's not worth getting pissed about.
Blame a friend of mine from BZPower. He showed Runescape to me and ever since I've been fighting the addiction. I'm trying to quit for good, and so far it's working, but the urges are intense. It's like smoking. It's hard to get over no matter how much it sucks.
My dad used to smoke a lot, and when he gave it up it was painful. But he fought the urges and won. I'm hoping I can follow in his example with Runescape.

And if it did, well, that's what they have PR teams for.
I can see the headlines now, "Random kid on obscure forum makes fun of Apple, millions of Mac users demand refunds."
Back to the topic at hand, though. There are millions of free MMOs out there and you play Runescape.
...you could play EVE for 14 days on trial, or WOW (trial), or Guild Wars (which is free to play as long as you purchase the game).

It's best for me if I don't play ANY MMOs for now. If I tried to do that to settle my Runescape urges it'd be like trading crack for weed. One addiction for another, then I'd have the same problem just with a better game.
Also, I actually knew somebody who "moved on" to WoW but occasionally came back to Runescape, because he simply wanted to play it some more. And I've quit Runescape since August, I'm just trying to stay quit.

I tried Runescape once. I then asked Science to give me that 15 minutes back (10 minutes was spent trying to find out how to stop the damn music).

I'll give you a good few reasons not to play Runescape (from someone who played it for a few months):
1. The people on there suck. They can't spell, don't use grammar and are all 9 year olds.
2. The graphics are awful. They make me sick to look at them. They're the visual equivalent of a musical composed by Keff McCulloch.
3. The animations are equally awful. They're the animation equivalent of a Murray Gold Dance Session.
4. The music, although quaint, is ****ING IMPOSSIBLE TO LISTEN TO. Like, at all. It's so awful that they had to make about 900,000 different tunes available, so, that when you get tired of one, you can move onto another. I very much doubt ANYONE actually intends to unlock them.
5. It's boring. I played it for a few months and got to about overall level 21. Then I got bored and stopped playing.
6. You have to spend hours of your day doing it. Most of these hours consist of hacking down trees. Then you mine coal. Then you mine iron. Then you mine something else.
7. When you walk anywhere, it takes about 3 1/2 weeks to get there. And if you're following someone, you always get stuck behind a tree/rock/hill/bench/building/gate.
8. Noobs always say they can kill you in the wildy. And the thing is, they can. Even though they're noobs. I mean, what kind of game is THAT!?
9. Donkey Kong is not in it. Nor are Space Invaders, the Master Chief, Gordon Freeman, Steve Ballmer, That Guy from Tron, or the robot from Mr Roboto. None of them are in it.
10. They have theme days and theme objects. But they all suck because they try to falsely create rarities and stuff so that people fight, argue and fall out over them. And when people fight, it becomes popular. Somehow.

I enjoyed the music, personally.
You forgot Autoers, of which there is an abundance. Recent updates however are getting rid of that, though massively changing the game in the process.
Yeah, I'm not having any urges at the moment. That helped, thanks.

Autoers were actually one of my favourite parts of the game. It meant less people playing it, which meant less people asking me to play it.
Also, I take that back about the Murray Gold Dance Sessions. I'd quite like to go to one of his fabled Beach Dance-o-thons.

That's longer than I played Halo 3... and I like Halo 3.

Yeah, but Runescape is a slower gameplay experience and Halo 3 is supposed to end eventually. Runescape did, becuase I found it all too boring.
No, but they do have Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde.

Did it?! Aw damn! I shouldn't have stopped playing..

A creationist told me once that a supernatural being created everything we see around us. I asked him, if everything was created by something, what created this supernatural being? He walked off nervously.
