The only file hosting service as far as I'm concerned.
P.S. Aside from DannyStewart.com.

I think you missed the point. He hooks up his computer to his PS3 and, lo and behold, he can send the files over and/or stream them from his computer. Uploading them to a site just to download them again to his PS3 is a big waste of time.

I totally understood your post. However the question he asked was "Where can I host files?" and not "Is there a better way to get files onto my PS3?"

Well there's no point encouraging him to go through with a stupid idea if you can give him a better one.

Agreed, but that's not how you did it.
It went like this:
Q: Where can I host files?
A: Ethernet crossover cable.
It should have gone like this:
Q: Where can I host files?
A: You're going about this the wrong way. You don't need to host files. Use an Ethernet crossover cable.

But then I'd lose the whole "condescending elitist tone" you love me for.

media fire worked well thanks danny.
Thanks RV but my PS3 is too far away from my PS3 to connect them using an ethernet cable. Unless you then send them over the internet or something, i don't know!
Passed my ECDL today!
