Tragedy struck

My mom got a new job recently, pays a lot more than her old one. So she decided to go ahead and buy a new computer...

It's a Vista PC.

Darwin help her.

That's awful. Try and shelter yourself from it if possible. It may be harmful to your health.

Pardon my lack of any computer or everday knowledge(Im a PS3 owner remember) but what IS Vista

My old laptop wasnt Vista and was fantastical great sound, great features but my current one has been nothing but trouble and bares the Vista logo.

She already considered getting a mac and, while she wants one, she admits it wouldn't do her any good due to her job these days.
It's not harmful to my health, my mac protects me.

To be fair, it actually hasn't had any problems yet... astonishing I know. Pretty neat little machine too, like a third the size of most PCs. Tis HP.

Nah, (a hypothetical) Satan would not be stupid. He's use OS X or, if he's strapped for cash, Windows XP.

Every laptop i looked at seemed to have Vista and i just thought it was the norm.
Sadly i didnt have the internet and didnt ask about, so at the time I didnt have a Scooby Doo it was so unliked. Oh well sucks to be me.
