Question iPod Touch

So is it worth it??

Danny was right and I was wrong. It is now in 32 GB (you know your Apple stuff Danny ... I don't)

Anyway. My dad has lost his iPod and I might give my Original 30BG Video (black) and then he'll buy me a 32GB touch.

I love watching videos so the widescreen is a handy thing to have. Any idea when the UK itunes will have Movies?

So. Anyone got good things or bad things to say about it? Mini-reviews?
Thanks
Jamie

Yes, it is absolutely 100% worth it. It's an amazing device, and it will only get better once third-party applications start coming out for it. You will not regret it. In fact, once you have it, you'll wonder how you got by without it.

Danny is right, and I can add to that by saying although I was uneasy about buying an iPod myself, once I opened it and added music to the device, everything suddenly went from 'Hmmmm' to "My God, this is was dreams are made of." and to backup Danny, it comes everywhere with me, It's just such a useful tool which does it's job and does it well. it's like getting that custard on your apple crumble and licking your lips at the delight of having it.

If Apple can keep up the dedication they continue to show all their products then any chance others have of catching up is just gong to diminish like a guy on the horizon.

Apparently the iPod plays music a lot better than a computer can... at least, that's what my mom says. I'm tempted to buy one even if I don't even leave the house with it, just for the fun.

If you can afford it, then go for it. It's pretty much the best kind of PDA you can get.

You take technical advice from your mother?

I have an iPod touch, 8GB. All I can say is, they are awesome. Probably one of or not the best product I have ever owned.

It's not the size that counts, it's the way you use it

I suppose

But nobody uses Optical ports. The only piece of hardware that I have that does is my PS2, so its a bit pointless for me.

So i'm guessing you guys like it!

Thanks for the feedback. I'm almost definitely going to buy it if my dad agrees.

Do any of you know future applications planned for it or non-apple stuff you can download for it which is cool?

You haven't learned yet, but you will soon. Apple is very secretive about all upcoming products and projects. You won't hear anything until it's out.

You couldn't be more wrong. I use optical to connect both my PC and my 360 to my sound system, as do most, if not all, people who want to use a home theatre system, which is a lot of people.

And when it does come out it's like a taser to the base of the spine.

Quite the contrary; I will be elated when they finally update the MBP's so I can get one.
