Something I suggest everyone watches
The Last Lecture, by Dr. Randy Pausch.
It's 70ish minutes long, but I really urge you make time and watch it. You may or may not have heard of this guy before, but his lecture is.. well, can't really say much else besides watch it. It's amazing.
Would love to hear what people think!

I haven't heard of this guy, but I trust your judgment so I will endeavor to set aside time to watch this soon hopefully.

I hope you enjoy it! Also, thanks, haha.
It's a long watch for sure, but he outlines a lot of really good advice and things about life in general I think everyone can benefit from. Took a lot away from it myself.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Randy_Pausch - For details.
In short, he's a accomplished professor that is dying, he'll pass on soon due to pancreatic cancer.
So he did what is called the "Last Lecture" a lecture where you compose what you'd pass on to everyone if you were about to die. In his case, it's true.
Some people don't like this kind of stuff, but I think he really passed on a lot of good advice/wisdom/whatever you want to call it.

I just watched this, and thought it was absolutely brilliant. All the stuff he outlines in this lecture seem so simple and effective.
In the video, he really seems like a passionate and fun loving person, and made the lecture, despite it's length, a really joyful, intelligent, thought provoking and funny 76 minutes.
I'm definitely going to take away a bit of advice from this lecture, because it seems like such wise advice.
Thanks for posting this.
