Desktops

Ahh, a classic forum thread title.

That's right, post your desktops. Here's my current one, in dire need of a new background, complete with a cameo by Danny.

Rocket dock and just a few normal icons, FTW. Props if you can guess what the Who related icons correspond to.

Mine's the same as it was in the last topic, but now it's cluttered again. I'm terrible at keeping it clean thanks to 4chan.

First of all, utter shame on you for allowing your gorgeous Mac desktop to become cluttered. Leopard introduced a Downloads folder for a reason, sir.

Second, you can't even repost it for us? You are the epitome of laziness.

I did as well until my friend Megan insisted that I change it to something else, and she has a bit of a thing for David Tennant, so...

I haven't been able to find a wallpaper that works as well with the icons etc. as the official ones yet.

Yeah, I agree. The official ones just work best somehow. I do like it the way I have it now, though... particularly the translucency of the menu bar at the top. I think it looks very cool.

Command+Shift+3 will take a screenshot and place it on your Desktop. Then just upload to somewhere like ImageShack.

That would be Photobucket. Command+Shift+3 takes a pixel-for-pixel screenshot. If your screen resolution is 1440x900, it takes a screenshot that's 1440x900, which would be so big it would break the forums.
