Another thing I noticed is a few sound effects during the mix, so I'm going to spend all night thinking about what sfx fit my mix.

This again.
Ben is not suggesting that I give you a sample, because I won't do that. I will, however, consider having you send me your mix, adding the scream to it myself, and then sending it back to you.

I put the s1 scream on, I think it sounds fine IMO, I'll put it in Dropbox when it finishes saving.

Thinking about sfx to add a finishing touch to a mix is all fine and dandy, but I would suggest making the mix itself a tight as possible before even thinking about sfx in you mix. It is very much the last thing that should be considered.
Equally, I do believe that asking Danny to do his thing with the scream is the best bet, 'cos the current soundbite in your theme sounds rather dry, and too loud, and not enough reverb. I do believe the tail end of it has been cut off as well.

Not all your posts are disappearing. The server went down earlier (my fault) and I restored from a backup, so maybe an hour or so worth of posts have been lost. Nothing more.

I didn't mean all, I was just over exaggerating.

Well maybe you shouldn't do that.
EDIT: After having listened to your mix, I think it is in need of a name change. This in no way sounds like a remake of the series 5 theme except in basic structure. Additionally, the set of instruments you have is perhaps the most eclectic I have ever heard in a Doctor Who theme remix. And I don't honestly know if that's a good thing or not, but I'd guess not.
And Ben is right, that scream is way out of place.

The bassline seems to remind me an awful lot of Keff's theme. I like the sounds you used this time, but if it's supposed to sound like the Series 5 theme, then it does sound kinda out of place.
When I listened to it, I kinda had the thought of outer-space lounge music.

nah, i changed my mind. I suck at remaking stuff, I renamed it to "Why Don't I Know?" Matt Smith's epic line!

well it is but "why don't I know" was his series 5 epic line because he'll probably still say Geronimo during series 6

Excuse me for double posting but the edit button had disappeared. Does it do that after a certain amount of time or something?
Anyway, I tried again for a 3rd time at remaking the series 5 theme but the more I attempt, the better I get, or something. I have been working on this for the whole summer, anything I hear in the theme, I put in.
KA-BOOM!
Feedback Please.

Yes.
Also, if you edit a post, no one is going to see that it's new, so in this case, no one would have had any idea that you'd posted your new theme. There are some cases when a double post is warranted.

Started listening. Heard the crappy Murray Gold bassline second layer notation. Stopped listening. If you're going to insist on doing versions of Murray Gold's themes, at least have the decency to correct his mistakes.

:S fixed. Sorry, guess I got carried away there. Although the Bassline is not EXACTLY like the Derbyshire, it doesn't have the Murray Gold notes Anymore, It's more like the Glynn one.
Also, I decided to change some of the VSTs, mainly freeware, because I wanted it to sound more like the Series 5 theme, I think the Brass and Choir in my other one weren't really like the Series 5 ones.

Still wrong but at least listenable. I'd like to point out that Dom corrected his bassline in the 2008 remixes he did.
Not bad overall.
