I do agree that it felt notably sci-fi-less. My initial reaction was just "what?! it's just a bunch of humans! what the hell is Torchwood doing there?" However Jack jumping in and kicking everyone's ass was highly enjoyable, you must admit.

Uh, as I recall it said in the description that this show isn't total Sci-Fi. I thought it was a welcome change from doomsday aliens.

. If I wanted a story like this weeks I would watch The Texas Chainsaw Massacre or The Hills Have Eyes, not Torchwood.

Over a series, not one programme...when aliens kill, it can't be considered a crime because they're alien.....they don't live by our laws.
