I'm all for trying out new technologies/software, so.. here goes nothing. Time for the first brave step into apple territory.. well, not counting iTunes.
Enjoy.

First, OS X, not OSX.

Second, a few days of experience hardly counts as extensive. Let me know how you're getting on in six months.

Third, it's not a matter of right or wrong, it's a matter of personal preference.

Haven't Boot Camped yet?

Glad you're enjoying the speed.

I don't believe there's a toolbar button for "Add New Tab" -- I just use Ctrl-T (or Command-T on a Mac).

Wrong. Safari is the fastest one to load web pages, sir.

It fits in with OS X more, although the sort of blade things in the URL and search boxes look pretty stupid.

Other than the aesthetics there doesn't seem to be much of a difference, although it does seem to be a bit faster.
Agreed. I'd say about 70% of the Firefox 3 UI under OS X is a drastic improvement, 10% has stayed exactly the same, and the remaining 20% is a ginormous step backwards (stupid enlarged Back button anyone?). Luckily using Small Icons gets rid of that.

Also, just to add, you can double click an empty spot on the tab bar to make a new tab. It's not quite an "Add New Tab" button but if you're desperate to open a new tab with the mouse instead of the keyboard that'll do it for you.

Firefox 3 beta: http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/all-beta.html

I also recommend Safari. I now prefer it to Firefox.

Do you use a lot of addons for Firefox? If you don't then you probably should go with Safari, unless the fact that it doesn't to adblocking is a big concern.

Just saying. For your reference more than anything, Mr. Mac User.

The only addons I have are the google toolbar. Perhaps I should go download Safari now.

Google toolbar? Wtf.

You probably should be using a wheelchair, not a web browser.

Rofl. The google toolbar isn't as bad as most toolbars, in fact it's one of the better ones, but the only thing I can see being useful for is for adding toolbar search capability to IE. But since you use Firefox, I can't see a point.

Top right corner of your browser. See that? That means you don't need a toolbar.

Did you know that Google pays Mozilla or Apple whenever someone searches using that?
