I do agree that Seasons 3 and 4 were a vast improvement, Manny Coto was excellent, The gap in quality from the episodes he penned from the ones Berma and Braga did was clear. Terra Prime and These Are The Voyages... being examples.

The film actually makes Star Trek seem cool.

Sort of agree with Ross on this. I never liked Trek 'cause it seemed dorky as hell.
Still haven't seen the movie 'cause I don't know anyone who cares enough about it to go with me, haha. Saw Terminator 4 last week, though.

See the movie, then see DS9. The rest of Trek likely won't appeal to you.
You're not really allowed to agree with Ross, because Ross speaks as a lifelong Star Trek fan whereas you've barely seen a handful of episodes.

And all this time I thought I disagreed with most things he said because they were retarded. I had no idea there was a rule against it.

Ross doesn't think Star Trek is cool despite being a fan. /facepalm
Saw Terminator 4 last week, though.
|
Seen that too and thought It was good. Not at the same level as T1 and T2 but still an improvement over T3. I don't get why the press hated it, but another reason to ignore them.

It had great actors leaking out of the kazoo, ILM doing some of their most impressive work, Danny Elfman scoring and even some pretty impressive direction from McG, but in the end, the whole movie was ruined because they didn't bother to get anyone better to script that shit. Not even Jonathan Nolan could save that nigga.
Seriously, get new writers McG.
