Chris, come on, let's not revive old threads unless you want to post something meaningful, like for this thread, what you're listening to right now.

Nirvana is what I'm listening to. And at this very moment of typing this, I'm listening to Peter Howells Doctor Who theme (one of the best Doctor Who themes I think, right next to Murray Gold and Delia Derbyshire).

Delia Derbyshire and Peter Howell, yes, but Murray Gold is just a bit beneath them both in my view. Still and all, Peter Howell's was indeed the second best after only Delia's.

But Delia Derbyshire and Peter Howell are pretty close though, aren't they?

I would say so, certainly! Some days I almost think Peter Howell rivals the great Delia, but in the end, I really don't think she can be beat.

I do not like the peter howell theme, a good piece of music in its own right, but it just isnt suited to Doctor Who. A Doctor Who theme should be creepy, mysterious. Therefore, my favourites are, the first ever, the Dominic Glynn theme, and the Big finish themes.

I admit, those three are the eeriest, I can see what you mean when you say a Doctor Who theme should be creepy and mysterious.

Right this second I'm listening to 'Song For Ten' by Murray Gold. Before you jump out of your seats and start asking where I got it from, I simply added a karaoke effect to the music in 'The Christmas Invasion' to get rid of the talking.

Well, you need a program which can do it such as Nero Wave Editor (oo, I love that!) or MAGIX Movie Edit Pro. They're just the programs I use but I'm sure there are many more out there.
