The administrator has decided that Recurring Villain should be quiet for a while

RV has been added to the site's "Tachy Goes to Coventry" list. Essentially this means that he's now on everybody's Ignore List, so no one will see any of his posts. He'll still see them, but no one else will. Have fun in your silent void, RV.

Ok this has definitely gone too far. I regret asking for thread closure, I didn't know it would lead to this.

I'll take him back off in a day or two. For now he really just needs to be quiet. This is in no way your fault. This is entirely his own doing.

Whatever, he can throw his little hissy fits and go run off to cry somewhere else. I'll live.

Given that he's contributed a lot to our whole audio play thing I suppose we can just throw that out the window if he does. The plot and the seraphs and all were his idea.
(Assuming we were ever going to get around to that anyway.)

He needs to exercise a little more maturity. I don't care if he's brilliant at writing; if he's going to be an asshole, it's just not feasible to walk on eggshells to keep him around just so we can pick his brain. He was an asshole about the theme music, too, threatening to leave and all if he didn't get his way. I don't want to have to deal with shit like that on a regular basis. Kody and I are the producers, and what we say goes. I'd like to see Steven Moffat walk out on the new series because he hated Murray's theme. (Actually I would like to see that... my respect for Steven Moffat would go even higher.) But in all honesty, Kody and I can step up and write this stuff if we have to, and so can you and anyone else who's interested. We'll make it work somehow, if RV does actually decide to be dumb and walk out.

I see some lack of maturity from you as well. I recall he only said he would loose serious motivation and was simply critical. I recall you said something very similar.

A better way to end it would have been to simply forfeit the argument and stop posting in the thread. I realize that contradicts my request for closure. My mind changes rapidly it seems.

I don't think that does in any way justify what the image turned out to be. And I feel guilty for provoking it. (He mentioned it after I mentioned the whole shock image thing. Maybe he'd done it before. I don't know)

But I stand by what I said.
Let's see how long this one lasts.

Frankly this can last forever, as far as I'm concerned. There are things that I'm willing to forgive and let slide, and there are things that are just plain unforgivable. What he did to Megan is not something I am able to forgive, especially considering that she was genuinely hurt by the image. Megan is a dear friend and I'm not going to let RV abuse her like that for defending me. If it comes down to choosing between RV and Megan, there's not even a choice to be made. RV can go die in a fire as far as I'm concerned.

I'm sorry if I've sounded like an asshole, I've just been somewhat emotionally drained recently. Your actions are entirely justified, I would have done the same if I were in your position and a friend of mine I hold in similar regard had that done to them. Along with contemplating bombing their house.

Happened before the ban. ... besides, how can somebody be a mod and banned at the same time?
