I did read it. What I am trying to say is that I will no longer be visiting the RV forum nevermind posting in it, but topics which were not previously in that forum have been moved there, and some contain posts from me. It's all well and good saying "dont post if you dont want to be offended" but Ive not been given an option with the moving of the topics.

That's the point of the forum, Ross. All OTT RV content to be kept in one simple location. I'm sorry you're not comfortable with the moving of the threads. Would you feel more inclined to post in there if RV weren't a moderator of it?

Fair enough. I haven't exactly been thrilled with how he's used his moderator privileges thus far anyway, and they're not necessary for the purposes of the forum.

I am happy about the idea of an RV forum especially, as that does ensure less misunderstanding and conflict in the future, and he can be himself without complaints. does ensure the forums remain their open minded way

Danny, if I use this forum filter thing, I won't have to read anything at all! Thank you!

Some forums, like the news forum, are not excludable.

a. Weren't the rules not supposed to apply in my forum?
b. I would have thought it was obvious my usage of them was a joke.

The rules may not apply, but it's supposed to be a forum for actual talk, not just messing around and talking to yourself. What you posted in there, while amusing for a while, was not what I gave you the forum for. If you don't like it, I can take the forum away again and we can just start cracking down on the rules like normal.

Well, it wasn't very funny. At least it's not now.

Watch it. That was just totally unnecessary. You're not above the law, especially not out here.

RV< even abusing Moderator privilages, even if it is just a joke and even on your own forum, it does not set a good example. You are funny, but thats no excuse to abuse it. Danny gave you a nice little gift, that forum of yours, so don't treat it like something you can just throw away, and sweating at other members hardly qualifies for any support.

As much as I love to talk to myself, it gets tiresome and can only go so far. I had no intention of going on like that forever.

For who? It's not like there's a bunch of 6-year-old moderators-in-training looking up to Uncle RV for guidance.
Last time you guys said I was abusing my powers, which was when I banned Daryl and Co., I got my powers taken away. When Danny bans them, everyone's like "Hey, good idea! I don't know why nobody thought of that before!"

It was hardly a gift. Take note that one of it's requirements was that I was to be 'nice' outside of this single forum. Basically, Danny wanted to appease you guys without banning me and relegate me to a single forum.
If I'm going to get my own forum where the rules don't apply, then I'm not going to follow the rules! Simple! I'm going to do whatever I like. Besides having to be nice to people outside the forum, as far as I knew there were no conditions for my actions within it. Nobody said I couldn't actually use my moderator powers or post craploads of conversations with myself.

I'll sweat at whoever I like, thanks.

Indeed. And to be honest, while it did transition from funny to annoying fairly quickly for me, that wasn't what prompted me to take away your mod powers. It was the vandalizing of posts from other people that did it. I might give you back your mod powers without the ability to edit posts, but we'll have to wait and see on that.

I did. And I agreed with them.

No, you're not, and with an attitude like that, I'm not exactly feeling the incentive to give you your mod powers back.

Well, sure. If you want to make the forum boring, good for you. I don't want to hang around on a boring forum.
