Well, I prefer to tune out my surroundings, especially when on the bus or places where I'm doing little for prolonged periods and don't wish to interact with the world around me.

That's nice. I prefer to be able to walk around the house and listen to loud music without disturbing others.

Well yeah that works when on a bus or something but not when out walking around.

I mean, if somebody were around the corner and were about to jump out and stab you with a srynge full of LSD you wouldn't have a bit of warning.

I disagree. I think it works under both sets of circumstances.

Well, then again, I AM a person who's been homeschooled since 2nd grade so that may be the reason I seem to think the world outside my room is rediculously dangerous.

My mum was not sure about getting me an iPod a couple of years ago. 2 years on and she now has an iPhone XD She became seriously addicted.
